Use case
If you commissionned a dashboard from Zetaly, or if you want to re-import a backup, you can do so in the Custom Dashboard page. To access the Custom Dashboard page click the Custom () button on the navigation bar of the Zetaly Portal.
Import Dashboard
In the Custom Dashboard page, you can access your dashboards, import existing dashboards or create new dashboards from within the Analytics tab.
To import a new dashboard, click on the + button on the left menu, and select Import Dashboards. Then select the dashboard you want to import.
After the confirmation prompt, you are transported to your new dashboard. If no data is shown, you either did not build the linked cube, or did not yet import it. This is the topic of the Import Cube section.
Import Cube
A "Cube" is the last level of data aggregation in Zetaly, whose purpose is to optimize them for a more responsive display on the dashboard.
Each dashboard is linked to at least one cube, and each cube must be built regularly to fetch the latest data. This is scheduled in the Elasticube Management page (see Schedule Cubes Build).
Cubes are managed in the Data tab.
To import a new cube, click on Import Model on the top-right, and from the Import dialog box that appears, either drag and drop the file or browse your computer by clicking on the Browse link.
Once imported, you are transported to the cube's page. Unless you are designing your own cube, you do not have to change anything here.
If you already started importing data via the Zetaly Streaming Agent (ZSA), you can test your dashboard immediatly by building your cube manually. It is recommended to schedule regular builds as stated above. To build the cube, click the Build button on the top-right.
From the Build dialog box that appears, leave the mode as Replace All, and click the Build button.
The build process starts, and takes a few minutes to complete depending on the amount of data that you have.
Once completed, you can return to your dashboard, refresh the page, and the latest data is displayed.
Schedule Cubes build
You can schedule regular builds of your cubes in the Elasticube Management page. To access the Elasticube Management page click the the Cubes () button on the navigation bar of the Zetaly Portal.
From this page, you can Build each cube manually, or Schedule it.
