Prev Next

Release Date: December 2, 2025

We are proud to introduce Zetaly Suite version 5.2. This update focuses on significantly improving security data handling (SMF80/RACF), enriching the user experience in the Data Explorer (ZDE), and delivering infrastructure optimizations for enhanced performance.

🚀 Key New Features

1. Extended SMF80 / RACF Support 🔒

A brand new parser has been developed to fully decode security records (SMF80/RACF), including the most complex data sections:

  • New SMF80/RACF Parser: Supports all data from relocated and extended relocated sections, ensuring comprehensive security data capture.

  • New rel_sections Column: Added a new rel_sections column (JSON) to the racfdata table to store detailed information from the relocated sections.

  • JSON Data Display in ZDE: This JSON data is now displayable within the Zetaly Data Explorer (ZDE) for direct inspection.

2. Dashboard Pages Revamping 🎨

The 'My Dashboards' and 'Dashboards' pages have been completely redesigned to improve ergonomics and ease of navigation, offering a better user experience.

🔎 Zetaly Data Explorer (ZDE) Enhancements

We have added essential filtering options to make data exploration even more precise:

  • Extended Filters for TEXT Fields:

    • Does not contain

    • Is not equal

    • Does not start with

    • Does not end with

  • Filters for BOOLEAN Fields:

    • Equals (TRUE / FALSE)

  • Query Information Display: The ability to display detailed information about the query currently being saved in the ZDE.

📊 Mainframe Data Enrichment

We continue to enrich the database with new analytical fields:

  • New SMF74-4 Fields (Control Storage): Added critical fields for Control Storage to improve visibility into memory utilization.

  • New SMF70-1 Fields (z17 Power Consumption): Integration of fields related to z17 power consumption, allowing for tracking energy efficiency.
