General New Look
We are gradually renovating the interfaces of the Zetaly Data Platform.
Initiated in version 4.1.0 with the review of the collection agent and parser interfaces, this evolution continues with the introduction of data lifecycle management interfaces.
The aim is to offer more intuitive interfaces for quick and easy access to information.
How To Navigate
The principles of navigation in the new interface are also applied to the new functions introduced in this release.
The main elements are presented in tables, providing access to functions or information that complement the available menus.
Data Life Cycle Management
The full description is available in the dedicated article (here)
Data Life Cycle Management replaces Loadviews and Compress features.
This new feature allows you to manage all data collected in the data platform, regardless of the collection method used (RAW or LEGACY).
Definition of rules allows you to define when and what action should be performed on the data.
Strategies group together a set of rules to create complete lifecycles that can be applied to one or more sets of collected data.
Lifecycles define the set of operations that will be performed from data collection to deletion
For each dataset, it is possible to define the desired aggregation functions per field. Each field accepts multiple aggregation operations when a rule is executed.
Data that are no more collected but still have value for company can be archived in a unique dataset.
Messaging (Streaming Agent)
Connectors
We've added a new “Active” property that automatically retries and re-establishes a connection if one is lost, with no time limit.
Custom Parsers
Version 2 of this feature allows the addition of new transformation definitions.
Version 1 parsers are no longer supported.
What’s improved
Messaging (Streaming Agent)
Connector and Parser
Improved record processing performance.
Custom Parsers
We have added new transformations when creating a parser model to simplify definition.
Error messages when creating a parser have been improved to provide more relevant information
