Messaging New Interfaces (Streaming Agent)
The full description is available in the dedicated article (here)
General New Look
We are progressively revamping the interfaces of the Zetaly tool, beginning with the Messaging. A look closer to the Zetaly brand with a darker appearance for more visual comfort and clearer presentation to ease the reading.
How To Navigate
From Regular to New Version and Back
The new style will eventually be applied throughout the tool, but for now it only affects the Messaging interfaces. These are accessible via the usual path but are isolated, i.e. they contain no navigation other than within themselves. To exit and return to the current version of the tool, click on the dedicated "Back To Portal" button.
Within the New Version
Navigation is restricted to the three Messaging pages and the Tag Management located in MYZetaly. To navigate within Messaging, simply use the internal navigation bar at the top right of the screen. To access the Tag Management, use the classical top navigation bar.
Connectors And Parsers New Presentation
Connectors and parsers are now presented in two distinct pages and in the form of a table to display clearly the necessary information for you to quickly find the item you are looking for.
The status have been renamed to be more explicit: “Running” is the new “Started”, “Ready” is the new “Sleeping” and “Warning” has been introduced.
Table rows are expandable to access more detail if needed. The essential data for each item is displayed in the form of a graph which you can enlarge and zoom in on to focus on specific information. Below the graph, you will find the logs for the item.
Messaging Monitoring (Streaming Agent)
Monitoring Dashboard
The full description is available in the dedicated article (here)
We have integrated a monitoring dashboard to facilitate the use of the monitoring system and the identification of necessary actions.
In this initial version, the page features three widgets. One monitors the queue system and the two others monitor the parsers and connectors status to allow the quick identification of errors.
Future versions of this dashboard will be enriched with additional information.
Connectors and Parsers New Functionalities (Streaming Agent)
Please refer to the dedicated article for detailed information on the following functionalities (here).
Mass Actions
Since the table presentation was designed to handle a potentially large number of connectors, we have introduced the capability to perform mass actions on several connectors simultaneously.
The available mass actions are:
Mass Start
Mass Stop
Mass Delete
Tag Assignment for multiple connectors
Connectors and Parsers Autostart
This functionality automatically launches the item upon creation and in the event of machine outages. However, this functionality will not relaunch an item that was manually stopped.
Connectors and Parsers Automatic Retry
The automatic retry functionality allows to set up a number of automatic retries in case of failure and specify the delay between retries.
Connectors and Parsers Autoscale
When activated, this option automatically creates a new instance to handle the processing of messages or records. When the workload decreases, the instance is removed.
Tags Creation and Assignment (MYZetaly and Streaming Agent)
We have enhanced the ability to identify connectors in a personalized way by integrating the concept of tags.
You can now create tags that reflect your specific needs (such as structures, entities, services, etc.) and associate them with the connectors you want, so you can track them specifically.
Tags are centralized in a new dedicated interface located in MYZetaly, and are available as filters in the dashboard monitoring and connectors interface.
What’s improved
Customize Your Tables in the New Interfaces
With the new functionality, you can choose to display only the relevant columns in the tables of the new interfaces (tags, connectors, parsers). You can also arrange the order of these columns, allowing you to fully customize your table to meet your needs.
Read more about it in this article here.
Introduction of the Search Functionnality
We have integrated a search bar into the interface to help you quickly find information in the connectors table. This search bar allows you to search for connectors by their name, host or associated tags.
Filters in the Connectors Table and in the Monitoring Dahsboard
We have integrated a filter panel that allows you to select specific connectors based on their LPARs, status, type or associated tags. This functionality is available both in the connectors table and in the monitoring dashboard, enabling you to display highly specific information according to your needs.
Connectors and Parsers Charts
For each connector and parser, the number of charts and their content has been reduced and optimized to help you quickly identify relevant information about the processing of messages and records.
